Group 7 - Kayaking

Instructor Zoe absolutely loved her can do, go ahead team. A strong group who worked well together and pushed themselves all week. Excellent reports, Group 7, and your certificates show that! Very well done to Danny, too, who was successful in his SFA football trial and thank you to Mr Wallace who took him back to Edinburgh on Wednesday evening and to his family who kindly brought him back in time for dinner on Thursday. Druie an outstanding dorm as well - even if they did fox us by hiding their sweeties under their pillows! Mr Howie enjoyed the Kit Kat gift :-)

Group 7 Gorge Walking

Group 7 are an adventurous group who are up for a challenge.  Zoe, their instructor, has enjoyed her week with them.  Everyone did all of the challenges on the gorge walk and came back very wet.  The cold feeling, of being submerged in a freezing plunge pool, didn't  last long however as they wore blue fluffy, teddy-bear suits and lined, neoprene boots as well as the lovely, red waterproofs.

Group 7 Hillwalking and sŵimming

This morning we went hill walking. We went up Creag Lenthar and Creag Guithsadar. It was really tiring but extremely good fun. We played lots of games including hide and seek in the bracken and the organic game. Once we got to the end and got on the now soaking mini bus ( used before us by the gorge walkers!) we decided to take a dip in the River Feshie. It was freezing so we got back to the building and had a hot chocolate.

Group 7 Forest Walk

We are group 7 and today we went forest walking. We went down through the forest and by the river. On the way we found blay berries and feasted on them, smearing our faces with purple juice. When we got to the river we concentrated on making stone towers ( this was a disaster).  Group 7 are: Lily, Iona, Jenny, Ivy, Beau, Angus, Asta, James, Michelle and Danny.
